Habeas Corpus

Habeas Corpus (Federal and State)

Paul Ingels & Associates stands head and shoulders above the rest in the demanding world of habeas corpus investigations and court proceedings. These include death penalty and life without parole cases. We have successfully investigated and supported litigation in many criminal cases, including the case of wrongly convicted teen Bruce Lisker, wherein our work was featured on CBS News 48 Hours Mysteries in the episode 'The Whole Truth.'

In one successful habeas corpus death penalty proceeding, we were the fifth and final investigative agency to work the case. We found the proverbial 'smoking gun' resulting in the California Supreme Court reversing the conviction, removing the defendant from death row, and ordering a new trial.

Paul Ingels & Associates has successfully investigated numerous habeas corpus actions, resulting in favorable outcomes for our clients in each. Check out the case history section of the web site for the details of some of our more noteworthy cases.
